Hi there! I’m Jack, the proud co-founder of Canine Training Group, where we make dog training fun, effective, and most importantly rewarding for both you and your furry friend.
I got my start in 2019 training pet dogs, and quickly realised it was my passion. Seeing dogs thrive and build stronger bonds with their families became my mission. In 2021, I took that passion to the next level by transferring from my job in the Royal Marines to the Army as a dog handler and trainer, further honing my skills working with all kinds of dogs, including the more challenging ones.
My approach to dog training is very playful and relaxed. I believe that happy, relaxed dogs make the best learners, so I keep things fun and motivational, no matter the challenge. Whether you're dealing with behavioural issues or you simply want to teach your dog new tricks, I’m here to help you build a stronger, happier relationship with your pet.

Hi! I’m Alix, the co-founder of Canine Training Group and I’m passionate about helping dogs and their owners build strong, happy relationships. My journey in dog training began years ago when I started working in a boarding kennels, where I quickly learned the ins and outs of canine behaviour.
In 2017 I joined the Army as a military dog handler and trainer, working closely with search dogs and honing my skills in high-pressure environments. The experience taught me not only the technical aspects of dog training but also how to build trust and communication with dogs in a variety of settings.
As a play-based dog trainer, I believe training should be fun and engaging for both dogs and their owners. Whether you're looking to teach basic commands, address behavioural issues, or just strengthen the bond with your dog, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
With years of experience handling and training search dogs, I have a deep understanding of canine instincts and communication. I’m here to help you and your dog thrive together, using methods that are effective, compassionate, and tailored to your needs.
